Poland - the insider tip among European countries

Poland offers an exceptionally diverse choice of tourist attractions. Here you can find exciting cities, monuments famous all over the world, romantic villages and numerous holiday destinations in the middle of nature. It is the untouched nature that is Poland's greatest attraction. This is partly due to the fact that Poland still remains an insider tip among Euopean countries, even though it lies right at the centre of the continent. Wether in sommer or winter - here you can enjoy your holidays completely undisturbed. Extensive forests, thousands of lakes and rivers (Masuria), long beaches at the Baltic Sea (e.g. in Swinoujscie , Kolobrzeg,) and countless mountain ranges (e.g. Tatra Mountains with Zakopane) are all waiting for you and can give you the best chance to relax in the open. The dynamically developing agrotourism also provides best conditions for that.

However, what you can also find in Poland are some of Europe’s most beautiful and impressive cities. These are, among others, Cracow, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Warsaw. Moreover, Poland is well known for its hospitability. The old rule "Guest in house; god in house" is still widespread. What should not be forgotten in this context is the rich and delicious polish cuisine with its miscallenous regional specialities. Dumplings with various fillings, sauerkraut stew, homemade lard, variously flavoured sausages and mouthwatering desserts can delight even the most demanding gourmets. Still, fans of italian, french or asian cuisine will find plenty opportunities to dine well, too.

Poland, of course, is also famous for its vodka. The best known is Żubrówka (Bison Grass Vodka), its flavour being based on the aromatic bison grass of the ancient virginal forest of Białowieża. Goldwasser from Gdańsk, on the other hand, is enriched with 22-carat gold flakes and enjoys a good reputation, as well as Polish beers and liqueurs. Furthermore, Poland is an unbelievably inexpensive country - and this goes for everything: transportation, accomodation, food and drinks, entertainment.
